We have paid maximum attention to the geometry of this model, incorporating short chainstays, a long reach, and a slack head angle, allowing riders to achieve performance both uphill and downhill, resulting in a versatile bike.
X40 SL-ICR, OUR FULL-SUSPENSION DESIGNED FOR COMPETITION
Thanks to the flex of the carbon, the rear triangle without bearings at the junction between chainstays and seatstays makes the X40 SL a lightweight bike with exceptional speed. The qualities of this bike make it competitive and ideal for the most adventurous cross-country cyclists.

XC SUSPENSION SYSTEM
The vertical suspension system provides greater sensitivity and better terrain reading by the rear wheel, making it ideal for cross-country.
The inverted rear Trunnion mount concentrates most of the shock mass in the lowest possible part of the bike, achieving a low center of gravity that provides stability and confidence.

LIGHTER WEIGHT
Our SL MENDIZ SUPERLIGHT CARBON uses carbon fibers distributed as follows: T24 30%, T30 40%, T40 20%, T60 10%.
Most of the fibers used are from Japanese brands Toray and Mitsubishi, medium modulus, combined with high modulus fibers.
* “T” refers to the tensile strength of the fiber in Tn/cm².
* Each frame and each finish has a specifically engineered carbon layup.

GREATER STIFFNESS
The rear triangle has no bearings at the junction between chainstays and seatstays, taking advantage of the carbon curvature as the system’s pivot. This not only reduces weight but also achieves exceptional stiffness, comparable to that of a hardtail bike.

MONOCOQUE construction: in monocoque construction, each frame is molded as a complete unit.
